09.08.07 - Ali & Jordan

Ali & Jordan were a super sweet couple, and I really enjoyed spending the day with them and their friends and family. They were married at the Postlewait residence (someone's home they've turned into an event location) in Canby, OR. It was quite windy, but it made for some awesome veil shots. Congratulations, and thank you for letting me be part of your wedding day!

I didn't know which one I liked better, so I posted both! Isn't she beautiful?!

He's not bad, either...

I like the old-feel edit to this picture...

One of the many fun veil shots from the day...

But, she was very tired of constantly trying to tame it by the end of the ceremony...

We were way out in the country...

The sunset made for some beautiful lighting for their first dance...

My 2nd Grader!!!

I can't believe my first boy is in 2nd grade already. I remember 2nd grade! This is a great age, though. He still likes me, and is so helpful with his younger brother. I will remember these days when he's a teenager! He wanted me to do his 2nd grade picture instead of having it done at the school, so here's a few pictures while he was playing in our front yard. He's always been such a ham!

09.01.07 - Caryn & Daniel

I shot Caryn & Daniel's engagement session a while back, so I was excited to get to work with such a fun couple again. They were married at the Shogren House in Portland, OR; the weather was beautiful, and everyone had a great time. Congratulations, and I hope you have an amazing honeymoon!

The best dippers I've had yet!...

I got a lot of fun dancing pics...

Ok, I'd better stop now! Hope you enjoyed them, thanks for looking!

Out of Town

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be out of town, visiting relatives in Ohio, until August 29th, but I will be available via phone and e-mail if you should need me. I thought I'd let you know in case you were wondering why it was taking me a while to get back to you, because normally I am very quick to respond to e-mails and phone calls. Wish me luck (and sanity) with just me and my two children on a plane for 5 hours! EEK!

Thanks!

08.18.07 - Chris & Christine

The rain didn't hold Chris & Christine back from enjoying their beautiful wedding at Horning's Hideout in North Plains, OR. All the guests were saying how it was one of the best ceremonies they had ever been to, and it truly was. They really personalized the ceremony by incorporating different traditions, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The reception was amazing, too, with an awesome band (I'm sorry I don't remember the name). The entire event had a classy festival feel to it, if that makes sense. And, to top it all off, Chris & Christine were just great to work with. They wanted me to focus on candid shots, so here's some from the day...

Isn't this one of the most luscious bouquets you've ever seen?...

The amazing musicians for the ceremony...

Looking straight up during the ceremony at the awesome tree canopy...

A guest just happened to reach out his hand during the ceremony to take a picture...

It is very difficult to get all the bridesmaids making good faces during the ceremony. There is usually at least one girl closing her eyes or something, so I thought I'd post this because each one looks so happy...
