First wedding of 2008: Jana & Jonathan - 01.04.08

Jana & Jonathan were probably the most laid back, go-with-the-flow, couple. Wind, some rain, and running behind schedule didn't stop them from enjoying themselves one bit. Congratulations you two, and thank you for letting me be a part of such a wonderful day!

Vacation pics!

Here's some highlights from our winter vacation! I had a nice relaxing week with the family, and we found a ton of snow! Yay!

I can't remember the last time it snowed on Christmas! My in-laws backyard...

Calvin was pretty overwhelmed from Christmas morning, so we saved this one for later in the day, after he had calmed down a bit...


And he's riding on it as I type this right now, too!


Then, we went to Sunriver...a shot from the living room window. Isn't it beautiful!?

He didn't really like sledding much, either...




Noah found a super steep hill, and had a blast sledding down it. Scared the crap out of me, though!

Happy Holidays!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be on vacation now through January 1st. My boys and I are going to Sunriver in search of some snow! Yay! If we find some, I'll be sure and post some pics! So, I will not be taking orders, however, I will be answering e-mails as quickly as I can. I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday season! :)

OBDP holiday party!

A groom from a wedding in July asked me to shoot his work holiday party in Keizer, OR. It was a very eventful night. I think everyone had a lot of fun! Here's some pics from the night.

The band, I believe they are called River City Band, based in Vancouver, WA. They kept the party rockin'!


We started with some formals by the Christmas tree...



Then the fun started!



They even let one of the guests sing a couple songs!

11.24.07 - Amy & Andrew

There was a couple firsts for me at Amy & Andrew's wedding yesterday. One was that I didn't take a single picture outside, which has never happened, even during the winter months, and the other first was using off-camera flash at a wedding, which I did because we shot only indoors and it was very dark at the hotel (Embassy Suites in Tigard). Congratulations you guys! And, a big 'thank you' to my husband for assisting me and being my portable light stand! Here's a few favorites from the day...





They first had pictures done in their traditional Korean outfits...



















The entire ceremony was in Korean, which was interesting for me. I really had to pay attention to what was happening!





This kid was very talented. Earlier in the day he was playing piano for us, but got a little shy to sing during the ceremony ...



But, he recovered like a pro, and kept singing!
