[AG]WPJA Contest Winner!

I am so excited to announce that one of my images placed 8th in the ceremony category of the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association's 4th quarterly contest, a division of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA). I'm really pleased to have my work placed so highly amongst such talented photographers.

The judges said, "The bride looks like she’s on the verge of tears as she is whisked away with her groom after the ceremony. The duo-toning and touch of grain give this image the look and feel of a movie still."

Cassandra & Dustin E-Session 02.17.08

It was such a beautiful day today! After playing with the boys outside, and getting a ton of cleaning done, I had a blast walking around the Pearl District with Cassandra & Dustin. We found some cool random places to shoot, and they were up for anything! I can't wait to shoot their wedding next month!

02.14.08 Happy...

Birthday Oregon! Yes, today is Oregon's 149th birthday! How will you celebrate it?

...What? Isn't that the only thing to celebrate on this day? ;) No, really, my husband and I say that every other day is like Valentine's Day for us, except the one day we're required to be romantic. What could be more romantic than that??

But, today's as good time as any to break out those old love songs!
