Out of Town

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be out of town, visiting relatives in Ohio, until August 29th, but I will be available via phone and e-mail if you should need me. I thought I'd let you know in case you were wondering why it was taking me a while to get back to you, because normally I am very quick to respond to e-mails and phone calls. Wish me luck (and sanity) with just me and my two children on a plane for 5 hours! EEK!

08.18.07 - Chris & Christine

The rain didn't hold Chris & Christine back from enjoying their beautiful wedding at Horning's Hideout in North Plains, OR. All the guests were saying how it was one of the best ceremonies they had ever been to, and it truly was. They really personalized the ceremony by incorporating different traditions, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The reception was amazing, too, with an awesome band (I'm sorry I don't remember the name). The entire event had a classy festival feel to it, if that makes sense. And, to top it all off, Chris & Christine were just great to work with. They wanted me to focus on candid shots, so here's some from the day...

Kara's maternity session

08.13.07 E-session

Erin & Matt are having their reception at Kennedy School in October, so we thought we'd do their engagement session at Edgefield while the weather was still decent. 08.05.07 Shanlyn & Jason

Shanlyn & Jason had a beautiful intimate ceremony at the McLean House in West Linn, OR. I enjoyed working with them and their cute little boy was such a ham! I'm going to post a lot of detail shots, partly because I was only there for 2 1/2 hours, and partly because they had such gorgeous decorations I thought other brides might like to get ideas from them. Also, as a previous bride, I know how important the detail shots are to couples, so I wanted to take the time to post a few extra of those shots this time.
