My new favorite song by a local band.
I like to support pretty much anything that is local...bands, farms, businesses, etc., and I'm super excited about local band, The Helio Sequence's new album, "Keep Your Eyes Ahead," coming out Jan. 29th. I pre-ordered it here. They have quite a few songs on their myspace site, but here's one of my favorite new ones. This video wasn't made by the band, but it has the actors that play Ron & Hermione in it. I'm not sure what movie the clips are from, but I think the video suits the song. The band is touring right now, and I can't wait to see them live again at the Crystal Ballroom on March 7th!

Hope you're having a great weekend!

DiscoverThis.com Catalog
Discover This is a successful internet company that sells educational science toys for children, and they recently put out their first catalog, which I shot the cover for. Here is the cover! BTW, this is not the original image, I scanned in the catalog, so the quality isn't quite 100%.

First wedding of 2008: Jana & Jonathan - 01.04.08
Jana & Jonathan were probably the most laid back, go-with-the-flow, couple. Wind, some rain, and running behind schedule didn't stop them from enjoying themselves one bit. Congratulations you two, and thank you for letting me be a part of such a wonderful day!
The bride and her mom...
I thought this was cute...
She looks so happy and relaxed here.
The ceremony...
The reception...
Look what he used to cut the cake!
Thanks for looking!

Vacation pics!
Here's some highlights from our winter vacation! I had a nice relaxing week with the family, and we found a ton of snow! Yay!
"Before" - Christmas Eve
"After" w/my new 15mm fisheye
Another fun present, a lensbaby. I love what the star shape on the lens did to the lights.
I can't remember the last time it snowed on Christmas! My in-laws backyard...
Noah with his new Power Tour Guitar...
Calvin was pretty overwhelmed from Christmas morning, so we saved this one for later in the day, after he had calmed down a bit...
And he's riding on it as I type this right now, too!
Then, we went to Sunriver...a shot from the living room window. Isn't it beautiful!?
My boys in the front yard...
Calvin wasn't as enthusiastic about the snow as we were...lol
He didn't really like sledding much, either...
Noah found a super steep hill, and had a blast sledding down it. Scared the crap out of me, though!
Thanks for looking, and I hope you all had a great new year!
